Raised satin stitch is an easy way to create a 3D effect on your applique embroidery withoutusing any embroidery foam. These designs are easy to use just as any other applique embroidery design. The satin stitch has multiple layers to create the raised effect. Therefore these designs have a dense finish along the border. We recommend using heavy cut-away stabiliser to give the fabric the needed support during the stitch-out.
